| MogileFS Maintenance |

Hey LJers,
I just wanted to let you all know that we are going to be performing some mogilefs maintenance over the next few days. We will be upgrading our current version to latest stable as well as changing some db config information to better handle the amount of files we are currently hosting. This shouldn't cause a big impact on site stability, but you may see some minor delays with userpic / scrapbook images appearing or other requests associated with our mogilefs. We would love to not have that happen, but unfortunately with some of the steps we need to take we have to cause a delay with images. I figured this was a better solution than taking down all of LiveJournal because well lets face it, we all need our daily LJ fix ;)

Forge. Those of you who know me IRL or on Fah Chay Boo Kay, I want you to know I really don't want my "Forge" world and my IRL world to intertwine very much, so let's keep it that way as much as humanly possible mmkay? I realize it wouldn't take but the slightest bit of investigation but I'm trusting people to be nice.
2. Age: Over forty. Less than fifty.
3. Location: Southeast Florida.
4. Occupation: IT Support Analyst. Guy wot answers the phone and fixes your computer. Hardware and software thankyouverymuch.
5. Partner(s): sharanagati, or L. Met her shortly after I moved down here in 2001, married her in 2006. She is the awesomest woman I have ever known and I have no idea how I would have survived without her.
6. Kids: An adult stepdaughter and her six-year-old daughter, who are also wonderful. The Bug is the coolest little kid in the world, no joke.
7. Brothers/Sisters: Sister, for-uh, over 35, beautiful, single, very gainfully employed, lives in Orlando.
8. Parents: Santa and Mrs. Claus, early 70s, they live in a little town halfway between Orlando and Titusville. Both are online-junkies like me and Dad plays Warcraft.
9. Pets: Two cats, big fluffyass Puck and smaller, older and much, much sweeter Sweetie, a shorthair tuxedocat who spends 99% of her time asleep in her fluffy bed in the back of the kitchen.
